ABOUT

I prefer timeless photographs and natural settings with few props to take away from the subject at hand.  I wait for smiles, cries, playfulness and personality to come naturally.  Capturing the moments that most people won't remember in twenty years is my priority.  Sure, I can pose my subjects and snap their portrait if that is what you are looking for....but what I really want to do is surprise you with images that mean more than that.

The photos taken when your child is talking about their favorite book or when your partner leans in for a little kiss when they least expects my shutter to fire.  The photos of belly laughs, funny faces, energy and joy.  The photos where you can see several years of memories in the eyes of you and your best friend.  Those are the images I want to bless you with.  Those little moments that tend to go unnoticed in the crazy hustle and bustle of everyday life, but mean the most when you look back on them.

My love of the arts has always motivated me to see the world around me in new and unique ways. I feel that this gift permeates through my lens and allows me to capture images that not only emphasize the personality of my subjects but also creates true works of art.

I am a St. Louis native with a husband, three children, and two dogs (so I know how important it is to freeze time through my lens!).  I graduated from Fontbonne University with a degree in Literature & Language Arts with a concentration in professional writing.  My interest in photography started in high school when everything around me became a potential photograph.  Since then, I have served as the photo editor of my college newspaper (The Fontbanner), interned at a local newspaper and have worked as a freelance photographer.

Spend some time looking through my portfolio.  If you don't see something that is uniquely you...I haven't taken your photograph yet!  Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.  Thanks for stopping by.  I look forward to meeting you and capturing blessings that will last a lifetime.
